What’s up with Council these days?
- Mid-semester survey – View the results online:
- Lobbying for increased accountability from I-House departments
- Organizing Spring Extravaganza (ie. I-House end-of-year prom) – We just booked a venue!
- Recently passed a proposals:
- Indian snacks for Holi (Indian festival of color)
- Resume workshop with former I-House executive director Joe Lurie
SPRING EXTRAVAGANZA IS COMING!!
Spring Extravaganza is the end-of-year formal dance for I-House Residents (like a prom). It’s an opportunity to enjoy a night out with all the friends you’ve made over the past semester and year.
When: Friday May 1, 2009
Where: Building One, Treasure Island (San Francisco)

What is Council?
- An elected group of resident volunteers who work towards improving life in I-House
- Meet weekly to consider proposals from residents
- Provides a voice for residents while dealing with I-House administration
- Decide how the council budget is used (roughly $30,000 per semester – Residents, this is your money!!)
